OPPORTUNITY


Canadian Blood Services seeks over 100,000 new donors per year and at times reaching that goal can be challenging. Many people are too busy and can’t find the time but are willing to donate. It’s just a matter of getting them out or reaching them at the right time.

Our overall communications objective is to encourage busy adults both male and female, aged 35-49 nationally, with a HHI of over $60,000+ to donate blood to the Canadian Blood Services because they have the power to save lives.

INSIGHT

What's Your Type? After research we found a common theme that people don't know what their blood type is. We want to increase blood donors by educating our select target audience what their blood type is, and how important it is to know your blood type.

​

SOLUTION

​

We will inform and educate our audience using various IMC tools such as advertising, event marketing and social media. The timeframe for this campaign is 12 months, taking place April 1st, 2017- March 31st, 2018 on a continuous schedule.
